IST Zurich celebrates its 30th anniversary!

It was time to travel back in time and revive the spirit of the 90s! The IST – Higher Institute of Tourism in Zurich, celebrated its 30th anniversary on September 19, 2023 and offered guests a day full of nostalgia, fun and unforgettable memories. The entire event was held in the style of the 90s, from the music to the decorations and fashion.

Lettenpark Rümlang

The venue for this spectacular event was the idyllic Lettenpark in Rümlang. Surrounded by green nature, there was a magical atmosphere, which was further enhanced by a small locomotive that guests could use to explore the grounds.

Program

The day’s program was as varied as the 90s themselves. Participants had the opportunity to listen to informative presentations by industry experts and benefit from their specialist knowledge. These insights into the various tourism sectors were valuable and provided inspiration for their own professional development.

Of course, there was no shortage of entertainment at the 90s party! A rousing dance performance delighted the guests and encouraged them to join in the celebrations.

A joint barbecue was also part of the program. The participants were able to fortify themselves with various dishes and talk about their experiences.

The organizers asked the guests to dress up in their best 90s-style outfits to celebrate this special anniversary of IST together. It was a trip back in time full of memories, laughter and joy.
